I got a copy of Knoppix Math at the ICM 2010.

I am currently using Linux Mint, a Debian-based distro.
Is it possible to install the software in the KNOPPIX Math Live DVD on my
Linux box?
Also I would like to have the "mathematician's desktop" kinda thing KNOPPIX
Math gives.

You can find some official Linux Mint package of Science:
http://community.linuxmint.com/software/browse/11

And, we have an introduction about our private build packages for KNOPPIX/Math:
http://fe.math.kobe-u.ac.jp/KnoppixMath/readme-en.html
You may install these packages.
Ubuntu and Mint are Debian-based, but I think it has some differences.

If you have some trouble to install these private packages,
please try to install from source code.
